The Wisconsin Badgers lost 2-1 in overtime to the Michigan Wolverines on Friday in Madison.

Wisconsin still got a point in the Big Ten standings and moves to 2-2 after losing twice to Michigan and sweeping Notre Dame last week.

After a scoreless first period, the Badgers took the lead with a goal from Roman Achan with 18:09 left in the second period.

The Wolverines found the back of the net later in the second to tie the game. From there, the scoring went dry for both teams until Michigan’s Thomas Bordeleau scored in overtime to secure the win for the Wolverines.

Wisconsin will be back in action on Monday at La Bahn Arena for the first game of a two-game series against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
